CAMERA: Take 1 | Hopeful Eyes

It hasn’t even been 5 days since I started An Inch of Hope…
(And I am LOVING ever second of it!)

Over the weekend, I sat down & drafted a TOP TEN list of what makes me tick.  It was a bit more difficult than I initially thought.  Narrowing down one’s vast interests/passions to 10 concise categories…

Hmm, try it & see what I mean.

My first few posts came easily.  The topics formed in my head before I even sat down, & I had my drafts punched out within a matter of minutes.  But to be honest, I became a bit convicted about where my heart was beginning to be anchored as I sat down to write tonight.  I scrapped my initial idea, & I let my mind lead me where it may.  And unintentionally, here is where it led.

Somehow looking at this photograph reminds me of what life is really about…

I write about simple living in order to help women dealing with the craziness of life find hope, even if it’s just an inch at a time. I believe we all need a reminder to stop, breathe, and enjoy the present for what it is, a gift to be enjoyed.

  1. I received a note today from my African charity in Uganda that my sponsorship for this year is in good standing. Thankful to God that my boy , Stephen, is being cared for and that the Lord supplies me with work to meet his need . Maybe someday we will meet !

  2. We are moving and have a ton of clothing from us, and our 3 boys. Is there an organization that you are involved with that will accept? Would love to help.
